Comments:	Cranes designed for precision handling of very large loads, ABUS variable speed drives used for all motions. Ace Crane also supplied 2 off 16t semi-gantry cranes, 1 off 10t overhead crane and 1 off 4t gantry crane in the same facility. ABUS standard components used for all cranes. GE preferred Ace Crane for the product quality from ABUS components and the commitment to after-sales service provided by Ace Crane Systems with a complete service and maintenance facility based in Dammam.

Comments:	Crane installation carried out by Ace Group in only 12 hours (see below pics), Crane also designed to travel on a curved track due to limited space available within the confined area of the site in the commercial centre of Dubai city.

Project Details:	Design, manufacture, supply, install, test and commission 7 off ABUS double girder cranes for handling reinforced concrete pipes in high productivity manufacturing facility.

Comments:	Cranes designed to lift pipes from vertical moulds with spec ial lifting devices designed by the manufacturing process machinery supplier. Ace Crane provided control equipment on ABUS cranes to interface with devices. Cranes had variable speed control on all motions and facility to operate at higher speeds at lower loads.

Project Details:	Design, manufacture, supply, install, test and commission 14 off ABUS Double Girder twin hoist cranes for installation of Aluminium potshells
Capacity:	4 off 10t+10t, 8 off 20t+20t and 2 off 30t+30t

Comments:	Cranes were used during the construction phase of the Potrooms handling potshells, busbars and superstructures. Power for crane operation was from crane mounted diesel generators as no permanent power supply systems installed at that time. On completion of the Construction, cranes were removed, modified as required and relocated for use in other operational areas of the Smelter, Ace Crane Systems also supplied 28 additional ABUS cranes to Emirates Aluminium, with capacities from 2.5tonnes up to 30tonnes, for operation in workshops, stores and plant maintenance areas, Ace Engineering provided complete on-site service support 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for the duration of the Construction period. Comments:	Due to the capacity (80t) and span (40m), this crane is one of the largest overhead cranes in the UAE with a total weight of 82 tonnes.
